Form applications with pate de verre technique

The technique of Pate De Verre, which is one of the hot glass forming techniques, is one of the techniques applied today. A single definition has been made by technical glass artists, which remains constant and valid. Technical methods of use are also examined and the glass particle size and the use of different methods during baking are observed. This situation caused different definitions in the definition of technique. It is not possible to mention a different definition since the raw materials and methods used are the same. In this research, the basic definition of Pate De Verre technique is tried to be done and technical development processes and the reasons that differentiate the definitions made in this process are mentioned. The discussions on the definition continue today. As mentioned in the study, although the methods used in the technique vary, the result is the same. Within the scope of the research, Pate De Verre technique and Hittite solar courses have been used. In the light of the findings, it was tried to bring a new perspective to the Hittite solar courses in the artistic context and to the sun courses with the Pate De Verre technique which is the hot glass forming technique considering the purpose of the Hittite sun courses.
