Abstract (EN)
In this study, the effects of paternalist and transformational leadership characteristics which are thought to be popular today on organizational citizenship behavior and intrinsic motivation are investigated by using the theory of leader member exchange. The moderator and mediator effect of these relations were examined. To test these hypotheses, I collected 292 data from public and private sector employees. The results of the survey data were statistically analyzed in SPSS 21, PROCESS and AMOS 20 programs. The reliability analyzes of the data were performed and descriptive and confirmatory factor analyzes were performed to test the validity of the data. Correlation analysis was performed to measure the relationship between the variables, regression analysis was performed to test the hypotheses included in the study. According to the results, the relationship between paternalist leadership and instinct motivation was found to be stronger than the relationship between transformational leadership and intrinsic motivation. In addition, I also found that the relationship between paternalist leadership and organizational citizenship was stronger than transformational leadership and organizational citizenship relationship. Further, I found that paternalist leadership had a significant effect on organizational citizenship and instinct motivation was the mediating this relationship. But, I found the moderating role of identification with the leader in the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational citizenship. Unexpectedly, I couldn't find the moderating role of the interactional justice and identification with the leader in the relationship between paternalist leadership and organizational citizenship. I also couldn't find the moderating role of the interactional justice in the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational citizenship.
