Path analyse and one application test: The analyse of the factors wich effect development level

This study, is being done to determine the effects of the variables which are thought to be effected on the development level, and executed on the base of administrative structure of TÜRKİYE at 2000 by the datas regarding of 81 cities. Gross National Product variables are used as independent variable of the development level. In this study, multicollinearity is determined among the independent variables and the path analyse is been decided to be used on the application. At the end of the study, by the use of stepwise regression method which is choosed among 17 independent variables is found significant on the use of the electricity per capita, motor vehicle per 10 000 person, the rate of fecundity and on the total supplemantery value variables of development level, which are obtained from the.manufactured industries. The path analyse is also used to determine direct and indirect effects of these variables on the development level. It is concluded that, the use of these 4 variables on the similar research which are going to be executed after this study will make the research more accurate.
