Abstract (EN)

As an area of meaning making art is located in an area where time and narrative intersect. As an act of production, the work of art belongs to a real time. This research, which deals with the relationship between an artist, a work of art and a narrative that provides transition between the audience, is a new possibility for the reshaping of an original experience, the concepts that Ricoeur uses to explain the temporal functions of the narrative; it's determined with the foresight that it would provide an opening towards artistic productions. Paul Ricoeur, the subject of this research, is one of the most striking names among twentieth century thinkers. It has been focused on the theory developed by Ricoeur, who has produced ideas on many fields from hermeneutics to phenomenology, from ethics to aesthetics, especially on narrative. This fiction has been created with the foresight that Ricoeur's analysis of narrative will reveal my product creation processes and methods, as a person who continues to produce in the field of visual arts, and also enrich my possibilities of understanding and making sense of an art product. Keywords: Narrative, , mimesis, productive imagination, practice based art
