Abstract (EN)

A perflouropolyether-poly(buthylene-ethylene-2,2-dimethyl-propylene) terephthalate block copolymer is synthesized and characterized as a coating polymer to decrease the surface energies of polyethylene terephthalate based articles. In addition to the polycondensation, a reactive extrusion technique is also developed to decrease the perfouropolyether losses during synthesis. Even though perflouropolyether losses are eliminated by using the reactive extrusion technique, it is found that, polycondensation synthesis technique to integrate perflouropolyether blocks into the polyester chain is more effective to decrease the surface energies.
