Performance is the qualitative and quantative expression of the person, group or anorganization?s success which shows the realization percentage of their defined goals.Performance Appraisal is a process that use comparing and measuring method to observeemployees work performance, efficiency and the effectiveness, adopting themselves to thechanges, to evaluate their behaviors and to define employees contribution to the organization.360 Degree Performance Appraisal is a system that evaluates employees? behaviorsand their effects by using the information gathered from their colleagues, chiefs, teammembers and consumers.This study applied to managers and employees in medium and big seized companiesthat are the members of Malatya Trade And Industry Chamber. Surveys? aim is to define theimportance of performance appraisal techniques, application styles, the criteria that should bein ideal performance system, ideas about the 360 Degree Performance Appraisal and to getopinions about the ideal performance system.This research consists of four parts:In the first part of the study, the definition and the benefits of performance described.Also performance appraisal process is extensively overviewed.In the second part of the study, performance appraisal techniques and theirapplications are studied by showing the pros and cons of each technique.In the third part of the study, definition and the process of the 360 Degree PerformanceAppraisal are desperately studied.In the forth part of the study, a research has done on the availability of using 360Degree Performance Appraisal.
