Abstract (EN)

In a concurrent competitive environment the main objective of the health care services entity becomes supply of low-cost, high-quality, timely and effective service. This objective and other goals require an effective system of continuous performance measurement and evaluation established on the entity. In this study, the effect of the performance based supplementary fee system on the health personnel in Adıyaman Education and Research Hospital was investigated and tried to be evaluated. An in-depth research was performed of the domestic and foreign literature on the theme, including specialist books, research papers, university theses, hospital workshops, internet sources, etc. The study was carried out between 01.09.2016-01.12.2016. 60% of physicians were not satisfied with 80.7% of assistant health personnel due to performance based wages. It was seen that the amount of additional payment amount among the employees in the mentioned findings is high and this increases the dissatisfaction among the employees. It was also concluded that the most important problem in performance evaluation was the lack of motivation. Based on some important findings, any fair performance in the system as a recommendation will be a factor that will increase the motivation of the worker because it makes the employees happy.
