Abstract (EN)

In this study, HIF-1 Alpha and Total Antioxidant stress (TAS)-Total Oxidant Stress (TOS) parameters, respiratory distress without asphyxia were used by using serum obtained from the routine blood taken at the time of hospitalization of patients diagnosed with perinatal asphyxia while being followed and treated in the neonatal intensive care unit. The results of the study were compared with the values of the control group patients who were hospitalized with ventilator and did not have sepsis, and the relationship between HIF-1 Alpha and oxidative stress in newborns with perinatal asphyxia was examined, the effect of asphyxia on HIF-1 Alpha concentrations was evaluated, and it was also investigated whether the use of this parameter would be clinically beneficial. A total of 76 patients, 38 of whom were diagnosed with perinatal asphyxia who were treated in the Pediatric Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of the Harran University Medical Faculty Hospital, and 38 patients who were hospitalized with respiratory distress without a diagnosis of asphyxia and did not need a ventilator and did not have sepsis, were included in the study. HIF-1 Alpha and Total Antioxidant stress (TAS)-Total Oxidant Stress (TOS) parameters were measured by using serum obtained from the routine blood taken from the patients at the time of hospitalization. In order to investigate serum HIF-1 Alpha and TAS-TOS levels, 2 cc of blood was taken into a biochemistry tube, centrifuged, stored at -80 degrees, and studied with the HIF-1 Alpha and TAS-TOS kit. According to the findings obtained from the study; It was determined that HIF-1ALFA (ng/ml) patient group values were higher than the control group values, and the difference between the groups was statistically significant. A statistically significant difference was found between the measured TAS (U/ml) values of the patients and the control group. It was determined that the measured TAS (U/ml) values in the control group were higher than the measured TAS (U/ml) values in the patient group. In the study, it was determined that there was a statistically significant difference between the measured TOS (U/ml) values of the patient and control group. The measured TOS (U/ml) values in the patient group are higher than the measured TOS (U/ml) values in the control group. The measured HIF-1ALFA (ng/ml), TAS (U/ml) and TOS (U/ml) values of the patients participating in the study and HIF-1ALFA (ng/ml), TAS (U/ml) values of the control group patients ) and TOS (U/ml) measured values were not statistically significant.
