Abstract (EN)
In this study, two different systems are designed and implemented to produce electrical energy from vibrations by using piezoelectric materials in order to meet the energy needs of wireless devices and circuit. Piezoelectric layer is bent via magnetic force by the magnets instead of any physical contact. Thus, some of the problems such as deterioration and performance loss which can be caused by physical contacting have been prevented. In addition, the effects of periodic magnetic fields have been analyzed for such energy production for the first time. Moreover, these findings have been used for energy production. Maximum power is obtained when vibration frequency is equal to the natural frequency of the system. The nonlinear softening effect was observed when the excitation frequency is increased and then decreased. It is observed by both experiments and simulations that the nonlinear softening effect is arisen from the material features of piezoelectric material and the effects of the external magnetic field. In the conventional systems, a large amount of power obtained from piezoelectric layer is consumed in the electronic systems in order to get usable energy. The energy storage-regulation circuit has been used to minimize this energy loss. Thus, the amount of usable energy has increased approximately threefold.
