The effect and optimization of techical staff in the quantity and quality of oil carriage and storage by maritime transportation

With the discovery of oil and the development of modern industry requirement of energy has increased and demand for meeting this requirement from oil has increased over time. Certainly, maritime transportation has an important point in the presentation of oil to the world market from where it is extracted. The independent surveillance service which is a part of the process together with the ship and storage facility crew as well as the technical adequacy of the ship and the shoretanks where the oil stored and the storage facility, in the oil movements between the two parties (loading and unloading) in maritime transportation, is undoubtedly a cost and time losses which are energy elements. Undoubtedly, the human factor has a very important place in terms of using, tracking or managing these equipment at every step of the process in the discharge, loading or storage activities of the oil entering or leaving from country. During the process, both the ship crew, terminal crew and the independent surveillance firm crew, who are responsible fort he quantity, calculation, pumping, sampling and administration application re combined just like the three-legged sheet metal. Therefore, the perform of technical crew proceeds as per procedures in motivation factor, which is an indispensable element of the entire operation process will be discussed in these three seperate elements. In terms of optimization of operations (time and cost), the ship and terminal parties as well as the third element the independent surviallence service examined from technical crew perspective and current problems and alternative solutions studied based on them. In this study, the results of the survey conducted with people who are directly or indirectly involved in the sector and who are experts in their branches. Asked quastionare that including totally 33 questions asked to totally 87 person. Obtained datas as per got answers and reflected on the graphics. By this way, researched alternative solutions to prevent time and cargo losses for exist problems. As a result, it has been seen that is necessary to increase training in theorical and practical terms, to increased the motivation and efficiency of the technical crew in order to prevent possible cargo and time losses that may be caused by human faults in working life as well as non-smoker preferred to provide a safe and efficient working environment by colleague.
