Abstract (EN)

Audiovisual feedback is usually used on touch screens on electronic devices. When these devices are used in noisy and distracting environments, existing feedback methods are often inadequate and the usability of the device is severely degraded. For this reason, new technology is needed. Tactile feedback generated by stimulating the nerves at the fingertips by acting on the touchscreens is one of the issues that have recently gained importance in this sector. Piezo actuators are used for the tactile feedback mechanism. Piezo actuators are deformed when tension is applied to them due to material properties. If this strain is sinusoidal, vibrations occur on the screen, which is the element to which they are connected with this activation. All vibration functions can be applied to the piezo actuators within the mechanical working limits. Thus, all kinds of vibration functions such as heartbeat, explosion sound can be created on the touchscreen. In this study, vibration mod structures of the display glasses with different design parameters used in the sector are examined experimentally and numerically. Numerical analysis was performed by using the ANSYS program based on the finite element method. Material and electrical properties of piezo actuators are taken into account in the numerical analysis. In order to produce the best vibration function on the screen, different piezo numbers and different piezo settlements were analyzed. Numerical analyses are compatible with experimental studies.
