Abstract (EN)

Pyroles represent easily accessible and highly flexible building blocks for the synthesis of a wide variety of compounds, including natural products. Pyrrole is widely known as an active pharmacophore. This core plays an important role in many natural and biological products. The development of such skeletons has received a lot of attention due to their properties. Pyrrole derivatives have important uses in pharmaceuticals, molecular recognition and materials science. Sulfonamide compounds, which have a functional group (R, -SO2, -NH2) called sulfonamide group, are important molecules that have biological activity potential and are frequently encountered in pharmaceutical applications. In our study, new hybrid compounds were synthesized by considering the biological activity properties of pyrrole and sulfonamide groups. The structures of the synthesized compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic methods such as FTIR, NMR and HRMS. In our study, 2,3-furandione compounds in the literature were obtained as starting materials to be used in the synthesis of target compounds. Furanon compounds were synthesized from the continuation reactions of these compounds with phosphorane reagents. Nine new pyrrole-sulfonamide derivative heterocyclic compounds were obtained from the reactions of furanon compounds and different sulfonamide derivatives in the synthesis step of target compounds. The biological activity properties of the synthesized compounds (carbonicanhydrase and acetylcholinesterase enzyme inhibition studies) were investigated by the biological activity group through interdisciplinary studies.
