Abstract (EN)

In the first part of the thesis, which is divided into four parts by us, the content characteristics of the Artillery, Cavalry and Infantry magazines are included. Accordingly, the three magazines were started to be published in 1925 by the inspectorates specific to their own classes. The magazines, which covered military subjects specific to their own classes, also included articles about other classes. The second part of the study focuses on the advice given to soldiers in the Infantry Journal. Lieutenant Colonel Mümtaz Bey's articles generally focus on soldier manners. Among the topics covered are the business of training soldiers and the profession of military service and its importance. The third section deals with tactical and technical issues recommended for soldiers. Accordingly, information on what the infantry soldier should do in the field and in the trenches, how to hide and fire is presented. In addition, the army and weapon status of some neighboring countries are also presented. In the fourth chapter, the last part of the thesis, rough information about the branches of aviation, artillery and engineering is given for the benefit of the soldiers. With this study, the Artillery, Cavalry and Infantry Magazines, one of the first military publications in the history of the Republic, were presented and introduced to researchers.
