Abstract (EN)
This research was performed in order to put into practice videotapedmicro teaching in piano lessons, show effects of videotaped micro teaching inpiano lessons on students skills and have their opinion about videotapedmicro teaching.The research was executived by general scanning and experimentalmodels. In order to determine technics? effect, Multi Personal-Single FactoredExperimental Figure was used. In this sence the research; was made on pre test- last test controled group.The universe of this research is students from grade 1 to 3 in GaziUniversity Music Education Program. Sample is 24 students who hadeducation at the same departement between 2004-2005 years. Students weregrouped in 3 stages 4 begginers, 4 middle and 4 advanced and placed in 2groups experimental and control group by random way. Before and afterexperiment participants were video taped and measured due to criticalbehaviours which were determined. Experimental groups were taught by usingvideo recorded micro teaching when control groups were taught by traditionalpiano teaching technics.At the end of the research, it was determined that video taped microteaching used on the begining, middle and advanced level experimentalstudent grups? last test points are higher then control group students, sovideotaped micro teaching used in piano lessons increase the performance ofthe students and effect their success level in a positive way.
