Abstract (EN)

In the frame of this thesis, polymer-like thin films and nono-particles were produced by plasma based electron beam generator. Without using any solvent, thiophene monomer is used as plasma precursor at room temperature, at a pressure of 1 mbar and 2 kV DC voltage with a 5 Hz repetition rate at 19 kV pulsed voltage. The deposition was performed on glass substrates and to enhance the conductivity of the plasma polymerized films were doped with iodine. The molecular structures of the films were characterized by FTIR and XPS spectrometers, the morphology of the films were characterized by SEM and TEM, optical band gad gap were determined by UV-vis spectrometer, thermal stability of the films were performed by DTA and TG techniques, the cristallanity of the films were investigated by XRD and 4-probe technique is involved to measure the surface resistivity of the films. We observed that the produced films properties are differ from not only the produced ones via conventional techniques but also are differ from the plasma polymerized thin films. The reasons are the nature of the plasma based electron beam generator has its own polymerization properties in the sense that the polymerization occurs both at high temperature and low temperature, special electrot geometry, and different operating pressure. Due to that reasons we observed that one can control the plasma parameters for a specific film structures and obtaining controlled nanoparticles. The films and nanoparticles were doped to enhance the conductivity.
