Abstract (EN)
In this study, the mechanical properties of syntetic macro fiber reinforced concrete was investigated. Concrete specimens were produced by using four different syntetic macro fibers. Water/cement ratio was kept constant im mixes. Compressive and flexural tensile tests were performed on specimens after 28-days standard curing. Load-deformation curves obtained from flexural tensile tests were used to evaluate the thougness of concretes. From the flexural test results, it was observed that the syntetic macro fibers increse the first crack, flexural strength and toughness, however there were no significant effects on compressive strength. It was recorded that the enhancements on flexural strengths and toughnesses were dependent on fiber type.
