Abstract (EN)
Hydrazine is an ideal fuel for a direct fuel cell system with high hydrogen content (12.5 wt%) and have a very negative potential for electrooxidation. Among various methods developed for the determination of hydrazine, electrochemical techniques provide an opportunity for a portable, fast, precise and economical method science. This thesis consists of three chapters. In the first part, the poly(FF) film electrode obtained by the electropolymerization of the phenolphthalein(FF) was modified with carbon nanotubes and Au nanoparticles. In the second part, poly(NB) modified electrode was obtained by electropolymerization of nile blue(NB) by cyclic voltammetry technique and this electrode surface was separately coated with Au and Pt nanoparticles. In the both sections, electrocatalytic effects of modified electrodes were tested by oxidation of hydrazine. All modified electrodes were characterized by SEM, XPS, EIS, HRTEM techniques. Polymer concentration and number of cycles, pH of BR buffer, Au3+ concentration and number of cycles, scanning rate were optimized. LOD values for AuNP/CNT/poly(FF)/GCE with LSV and amperometry were calculated 1.33 µM and 0.083 µM, respectively. LOD values for AuNP/CNT/poli(NB)/GCE was 12.0 µM and 0.33 µM, respectively. The prepared electrodes were applied to Gediz and Karaçay river water samples and their recovery values were determined as 101-120%. In the third part of the thesis, simultaneously determination of nitrite and hydrazine was studied out at the AuNP/CNT/poly(NB)/GCE via LSV. As a result, LOD values for nitrite and hydrazine were 14.9 µM and 3.13 µM, respectively. The developed method was applied to sausage samples and the recoveries were calculated.
