Analysis of criminal incidents responded to by the police before during and after the pandemic

The police force is one of the most important public service providers responsible for ensuring public peace and security. The police force works 24/7 in the service of the public. The police force, which is one of the professional groups that could not work remotely during the pandemic period and continued to work 24/7, continued its work and fought crime and criminals. In this study, the criminal crimes that the police intervened in and the crimes they referred to justice were examined in the pre-pandemic, pandemic and post-pandemic periods. For this purpose, the statistics of various public institutions were used in the study. As a result of the research, it was determined that the number of crimes and criminals referred to the Ministry of Justice by the police during and before the pandemic period increased significantly after the pandemic.
