Abstract (EN)
In this studty, pumice taken from Nevşehir and Isparta districts were studied for theirpotential use in whiteware manufacturing. Fourteen recepies of whiteware body were preparedby using the pumices. The prepared specimens were compared to standartized recipe utilized inthe production of Esvit whitewares.It is concluded that the prepared specimens display positive mechanical properties,sintered at relatively low temperature, thus indicating possible raw materials.Keywords: Pumice, sanitaryware.
