Abstract (EN)

In Turkey, right parties and politiciant that come into power with the transition to a multi-party system,generally tried to get support from the vast majority of public by serving their practices with the ''developmentalism'' discourse.From 1980's developmentalism discourse of the new right ideology that come into being with the effect of neoliberalism gained political legitimacy by being more and more populist with the statements like; ministration, mega projects, technology based industrialization, growth, etc.From this point of view, new right ideology claims to have a position over parties and ideologies with its understanding of developmentalism. At this point, the aim of the study is to analyse the connection of the developmentalism discourse and political populism and to deal with their being positioned as an over political area by mass media that close to the right ideology. To reach the aim of the study,how the news in the printed media that is close to the right ideology produced is tried to be explained with the method of ''critical discourse analysis'' .With the discourse analysis, it is aimed to be discussed that the creation of the perception of politics in society with the reproduction of developmentalism discourse at the mass media that close to the right ideology.
