Abstract (EN)

This research included the study of the effect of adding orange minutes as a support material for polymeric materials on some mechanical and physical properties for the use of their compounds in some industrial applications. The manual hand Lay–Up Molding method was used to prepare superimposed materials with weight fractions (4, 6, 8 , 10% wt ) of epoxy Resin reinforced with orange peel minutes (Orange Peels). The properties of hardness, shock resistance, compressibility resistance, bending resistance and thermal conductivity of all samples were studied before and after immersion in acid solution (HCl) for 14 days . The practical results showed that the hardness property increases by increasing the weight fraction of all samples in the normal state (N.C) the hardness value after immersion in hydrochloric acid(HCl) is lower than in the normal state. The shock resistance property (I.S) it increases with increasing weight fraction and then begins to decrease. The value of (I.S) after immersion in hydrochloric acid(HCl) less than those in the normal state. In addition to the compression resistance property was observed that with the addition of OR molecules, it increases significantly with increasing concentration. The compressive strength of OP reaches Mpa (1075.3) at the weight fraction (0.08), which is higher than that of non-reinforced epoxy, and it was noted that the compressive strength of samples immersed in (HCl) increases with increasing weight fraction of other samples in the normal state, as the values of compressive strength increased after immersion in acidic hydrochloric acid solution for 14 days. The results also showed that the property of bending resistance decreases with the addition of op molecules in the normal state (N.C). While the bending resistance of samples in HCl solution is lower than in the normal state (N.C). The a decrease in the thermal conductivity values of the composite material with an increase in the weight ratio of orange peel particles (OP) in (N.C). After immersion in chemical solutions (HCl), this (K) increases with the immersion time by a very small percentage. The superpositor (EP/OP) showed that the best value of thermal conductivity by weight fraction (0.1) was (W/m.k0.2887).
