Abstract (EN)
Developments and changes indifferent areas begins with enlightenment age in Europe. These developments and changes in different areas of art creates the roots of postmodern art. New order of enlightenment age and the effect of new order of enlightenment age to the people creates modern art. The effect of modern thinking creates new understanding for art and this new perception creates postmodern art. We know that, in studies of postmodern novels, consept of language was underlined but it was also superficial. We studied the concept of language for postmodern novels in this Doctoral thesis. There is nine characteristic novel type in Turkish literature after 1980. These novel types are modernity in Europe, modern novel, postmodernity, meta fiction, postmodern novel, historical conditions, plot, time, place, reality and postmodern language. We belive that, this study of concept of language for postmodern novels will create contribution for literature.
