Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study was to prepare sample main skirt patterns specially designed for women with posture problems. The 13 subjects, aged 15/45, without any body deformity but with posture problems in the lower body, were chosen in Çankaya district of Ankara. Control group is composed of 5 women chosen from the same district. In this study scanning and case study method, which is a sort of experimental model, were used together. Scanning method was preferred in determining the features of the bodies with posture defect, while case study method was preferred in finding a solution to the question of how the skirt patterns for bodies with posture defects should be.In order to find out a proper subject with a hip problem among all the subjects with posture problems, which forms the main focus of the study, the subjects were given a posture test and a body analysis form. In order to determine their satisfaction with the skirt patterns and prepare a suitable skirt pattern, the women subjects that were chosen for sampling were given an interview form. As a result of the data collected through posture and body analysis forms, using cutting out and draping methods, a pattern was made with the sizes of each properly chosen sample subject with peculiar hip defect. The patterns produced were compared in technical details, and the applications that should be followed in cutting were established.
