Abstract (EN)
Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between miR-29b-3p expression, serum HCII, DPP3 and mPGES-1 levels with preeclampsia. Method: The study sample consists of a patient group consisting of 50 participants diagnosed with preeclampsia according to ACOG criteria and a control group consisting of 30 normotensive healthy pregnant women. The patient and control groups are divided into early and late subgroups according to before and after the 34th week of pregnancy. In the study, miR-29b-3p expression level was determined by qRT-PCR method, and serum HCII, DPP3 and mPGES-1 levels were determined by ELISA method. All statistical analyses were performed with the ''IBM SPSS Statistics 26'' package program, and p<.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: It was found that miR-29b-3p expressions and serum mPGES-1 concentrations did not differ between healthy and preeclamptic pregnant women (p>.05). Also, although there was no statistical significance, miR-29b-3p expression levels were found to be approximately twice as high in the preeclampsia group with proteinuria symptoms as in the preeclampsia group without proteinuria (p>.05). HCII and DPP3 serum concentrations in preeclamptic pregnant women were found to be statistically significantly lower than in normal healthy pregnant women (p<.05). mPGES-1 levels in the late-onset preeclampsia group were found to be significantly higher than in the early healthy control group and early preeclampsia group (p<.05). In the preeclampsia group, HCII, DPP3 and mPGES-1 levels were found to be positively and significantly correlated with each other (p<.05). Conclusion: Increased levels of miR-29b-3p may be associated with proteinuria symptoms in severe preeclampsia. In addition, low levels of HCII and DPP3 during pregnancy may contribute to the development of preeclampsia. However, increased levels of mPGES-1 in late gestation and late preeclampsia may be associated with the severity of the disease.
