Abstract (EN)
In recent years, the increasing expectations of consumers from textile products and the preference of comfort in garment preferences has led to the interest of researchers and textile and garment manufacturers to focus on the production of more comfortable garment systems. Accordingly, producers' tendency to search for new raw materials increased in line with consumer demands. In this study, weft knitting with yarns consisting of cotton, viscose, polyester, Umorfil (protein), Umorfil/cotton blend fibers and produced five different kinds of vanized (single jersey) fabric. The sample fabrics were dyed according to the extraction method. In order to give hydrophilic properties, the finishing process was applied according to the impregnation method and performance of some of these surfaces was shown. The performance evaluation of the fabrics was prepared comparatively with the other fibers and worked in the same manner as the material. In this thesis, it is seen that fiber containing Umorfil protein content, which is one of the new raw material products, is close to viscose fiber.
