Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out in order to determine the success of propagation by cuttings of Prunus spinosa (Güvem-Çakal plum) genotypes from 4 locations: Bolu center, Abant lake surroundings, Mudurnu and Göynük district between 2018-2019 years. In the study, wood cuttings were treated with different doses of IBA (1000 ppm, 2000 ppm, 4000 ppm, 6000 ppm and 8000 ppm) applications and then planted in rooting media containing perlite with bottom heating. While rooting took place in 13 genotypes out of 60 genotypes taken into the rooting medium, the survival rate of the cuttings was 21.67%. While the highest rooting rate was obtained in genotype 13 in 4000 pppm application with 50% (5 cuttings), the average callus formation occurred in genotype 45 with 1.6. Depending on the applied IBA dose, the average root number was determined as 0.17 in the highest 4000 ppm application and 0.02 in the lowest 1000 ppm application. The highest callus formation was determined in 1000 and 8000 ppm application and the lowest in 6000 ppm IBA application. The highest live steel count was determined in 2000 ppm IBA application, while the lowest live steel count was determined in 6000 ppm IBA application. It was determined that the positive effects of IBA application on the rooting of cuttings were limited in Prunus spinosa (Güvem plum) genotypes and 8000 ppm IBA application had a positive effect on root number, root length and root diameter.
