Abstract (EN)
Main objective of the research is; the analysis of life satisfaction of Psychological counselors depending upon their burnout level. Hereby this research is thought to be genuine in data quality for the upcoming researches and contribute to overcome the deficiency in this aspect of the field. Furthermore, the relation of some sociodemographic factors with these variables has been analyzed as well. The research has been carried out with the participation of 150 Psychological counselors working in different institutions in 2016. Research data has been obtained by using Personal Information Form, Maslach Burnout Inventory and Diener Life Satisfaction Scale. The data obtained in the research has been analyzed with SPSS (Statistical Package For Social Sciences) packaged software. In reference to the results obtained, a low level and inverse relation has been detected between Burnout and Life Satisfaction. When life satisfaction increases, the burnout decreases. When life satisfaction decreases, the burnout increases. It has been determined that the Emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, personal success and Burnout (Total) levels of women is higher, when compared to men. Emotional exhaustion is higher in Psychological counsellors having 5000 TL income and over. Having discussed these findings of the research; some suggestions have been made regarding theoretical and practical fields. Keywords: Psychological counselors, Life Satisfaction, Burnout
