Abstract (EN)
At the present day, We use to radiation for diagnosis and treatment. Radiation interact with the biomolecules in biolocigal systems and is caused by electron-taking or to lose. Free-radicals incresase oxidative-damage such that lipid-peroxidation, protein and enzyme inactivation and DNA broken lesions. While radiation therapy causes tension in tumor mass, at the same time, also leads to the formation of oxidant damage in healthy tissues. The radiation of the body also affect the structure of endothelial. Increased-serum Asymetric dimethly arginine (ADMA) and Hcy levels play with a role in pathophysiology of endothelial dysfunction. Especially, Applications of vitamine D prevent to increase of ADMA levels in endothelial dysfunction and many studies have demonstrated.Effect of radiation on ADMA, vitamine D and homosysteine levels researced with used HPLC method for measurement. We used to 24 rats for experiments and separated to four groups to rats.(n=6 control group, n=6 radiation group, n=6 radiation and vitamine D groups, n=6 vitamine D group)SDMA levels of radiation group ( group 2) were higher than control group (group 1). It was found value of means is statically(p=0,006).Vitamine D levels of group 2 were lower than group 1. It was found value of means is statically.(p=0,001)Vitamine D levels of radiation + vitamine D group were higher than group 2. This increase was found value of means is statically(p=0,004).Group 4 Vitamine D levels were higher than control group . This increase was found value of means is statically(p=0,004).ADMA levels of vitamine D group ( group 4) were lower than group 3. This decrease was statically signaficant differance wasnt observed (p=0,432).Against damage to cells or tissues exposed to radiation that may occur when the application of vitamine D in the prevention of ADMA and homocysteine-induced endothelial dysfunction, may be effective.Key Words:, ADMA, SDMA, Hcy, vitamine D, endothelial damage, radiation
