Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to eliminate some of the negative properties caused by resin on the surfaces of scots pine wood with different surface cleaning processes and water-based varnishes. In addition, determination of hardness, gloss, total color change and adhesion resistance in two-component finish varnish of different resin cleaning and primer coat applications is the second goal. In order to achieve these goals, scots pine wood as a resin cleaner on sample surfaces; acetone, ethylglycol, benzene, trichloroethylene and cellulosic thinner, soft soap, ammonia, potash, sud caustic, hydrogen peroxide, soda, acetone + potash, acetone + sud caustic and sud caustic + hydrogen peroxide were applied. In addition, incineration with a blowtorch and surface etching with sodium bicarbonate were also performed. Then, the sample surfaces are coated with one-component primary filler varnish, one-component acrylic modified polymer filler varnish and two-component acrylic modified polyurethane copolymer finish varnish. Layers of varnish; its effect on adhesion resistance was determined according to ASTM D 4541 (tensile test) and ASTM D 3359 (cross-cutting test), its brightness was determined according to ASTM D 523-89, its total color change was determined according to ASTM D 2244-02 and its hardness was determined according to ASTM D 2240. According to the results study, the highest bond strength with primer and varnish soda and processed D18 tricks applied in the examples, the highest hardness value and processed with varnish when applied over primer JAI SBK examples, and D18 primer varnish applied with a gun, blowtorch processed and the highest total color change in the examples have been identified. The lowest brightness value was determined in samples treated with a blowtorch and SBK. In addition, as a result of detailed examinations with a microscope camera (MICAM), it was found that resin cleaning processes do not completely destroy resin vomiting.
