Abstract (EN)

In our rapidly developing world, especially in the middle and above age group, many individuals experience stomach disorders as a result of one or more of the factors such as stress, heredity, widespread smoking, unhealthy diet, sedentary lifestyle and lack of physical activity. If necessary precautions are not taken, stomach disorders can lead to various stomach diseases and ulcers. Among the precautions that can be taken are stomach-protective drugs given to such patients. In the pharmaceutical industry and research groups at universities, the analysis of drug active ingredients is of particular importance. For this purpose, during the analyses in laboratories, there are many methods that cannot be listed here, such as spectrophotometry and high-pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC), which are called instrumental methods. As it is known, since instrumental analysis devices are high-tech products, their investments are quite costly and are not found in every research laboratory. UV-Spectrophotometry devices, which are frequently found in a routine research laboratory and have low costs, are quite useful for these tasks. In this thesis, the data obtained from UV Visible Spectroscopy methods were determined by derivative spectroscopy method and partial least squares calibration method (PLS) was used to compare the method. In the study, calibration graph method and recovery application were successfully applied to the data obtained by UV-spectrophotometry for the determination of domperidone and lansoprazole active ingredients used as stomach protectors. It was found that there was no difference between the studied methods and successful results were obtained by comparing them with statistical tests where they were applicable. Keywords: Domperidone, Lansoprazole, UV-Spectrophotometry, calibration graph, recovery.
