Abstract (EN)

It can be said that individuals generally lead a life of depression, anxiety and stress in life conditions that are thought to have many problems such as intense working hours, tired human body, stressful lifestyle. Because of these living conditions, people may need to rest or spend more time for themselves. In a way, people may need different outdoor recreations such as hiking to relax. Along with hiking, hunting sports may also develop. People can meet with nature and do hunting activities in order to get away from busy work life conditions. In order to examine the effect of hunting sports on anxiety, depression and stress in order to get rid of depression and stressful life types, it was aimed to examine the relationship between anxiety, stress and depression status of individuals who are active athletes in land hunting clubs in Elazığ province. The population of the study included individuals who are actively members of hunting clubs in Elazığ province, while the sample consisted of 485 people who are members of these clubs. In order to collect data, a 7-question personal information form prepared by the researcher and the Depression, Anxiety and Stress scale were filled out. The data obtained were analyzed with SPSS 26.0 package program. In the analysis of the data, normality test was performed and it was determined to be parametric. In the statistical analysis, the significance level was accepted as p<0.05 to determine the difference between the groups. While there was a significant difference between the depression, anxiety and stress scale and age, financial income, hunting types and occupations of individuals practicing hunting sports, no difference was found in terms of education level, number of years of practicing the sport and having pets.
