To identify the opinions of the ones who are spear fishing which is recreative activity

The aim of this study is to produce a qualitative report on the place of spear fishing within recreational hunting sports as conducted by a group of individuals made up of a variety of professional backgrounds in Trabzon in terms of which variation of fish are hunted in which areas, at which times, and under which conditions.In this study qualitative research, case study techniques and convenient sampling are applied to the sample group of 15 Trabzon spear fishers. The findings data of this study are collected from the members of this research group. The results of the study show that the types of fish, their natural habitats and feeding habits are directly inter-related. The characteristics of the established hunting areas support the findings of this study. The results of this study will make it possible to predict which types of fish will be able to live in each particular hunting area.
