Abstract (EN)

ABSTRACT: This research aimed to investigate the potential of untreated palm seeds powder (PSP as an alternative and environmental friendly adsorbent for the treatment of dye-containing wastewater. PSP was applied to treat methylene blue (MB) simulated solutions, and various operation parameters were investigated under batch system. Kinetic and thermodynamic studies were investigated, pseudo second-order was observed to be the most suitable to describe the adsorption process. Values obtained from thermodynamic analysis show that the adsorption process is endothermic, spontaneous and chemisorptions in nature. Keywords: Dye Removal, Dye Adsorption, Biomass, Palm Seed, Methylene Blue. …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
