Abstract (EN)

After the urinary tract infection and prostatic pathology, urinary tract stone disease, were at third place among the urinary tract pathology. The clinical and experimental studies demonstrate that at the main target cells are the renal tubular cells the oxalate induced injury. In our study, we investigate the effect of indomethacin which is the anti inflammatory agent, on apopitosis occured by the result of the renal tubular cell injury induced by hyperoxaluria together with ESWL. Occording to our study desing, we set seven groups as 6 study group and one control. In each group there were 10 rabbits. Except for the control group, the other groups divided into two subgroups with respect to the following periods as early period (7 days) and late period (28 days). All the animals at working groups were fet a mixture water plus 1 % ethylene glycol for experimental crystalisation of renal tubuli and that were enough group II. However group III were applied ESWL additinally for the cumulative destructive effect. The last group (Group IV) were construted as feeding 1 % ethylene glycol plus indomethacin and aplied ESWL in order to gaze if there were any effect on renal tubuli. In conclusion, at the groups which had received ethylene glycol we observed different degrees of crystalisation at renal tubuli. It is found statically meaningful that especially in the groups, which had received indomethacin, crystalisation and apopitotic changes were little. There were statically significant decrease on crystalisation and apopitotic changes of renal tubuli on groups in which fet by indomethacin. In the light of our findings, we observed that protective or reductive effect of indomethacin on the crystalisation or apopitotic changes of reanal tubuli which experimentally destroyed. However it was evident at the groups were taken indomethacin longerly.
