The assessment of the history of art lessons being educated in the department of fine art education, depending on the students? views

This research reveals the assessment of the history of art lessons being treated in the departments of fine art located in the Turkish Education Faculties, by means of the current students? view. During the study, the survey review has been made. The study generally depends on the survey results and also the literature information.In the first part, subject sentence of the survey and its practice area has been determined and the information regarding the research has been given.In the second part, the education of the History of Art, its evolution process, museum education, the hours of the History of Art lessons treated in the Departments of Drawing-Handwork Teaching / Fine Art Education have been studied in the light of the relative publications and studies.In the third part, the study of the reviews which have been applied in the research in order to obtain the data and the analyses of the surveys has been made.In the fourth part, the results of the qualitative research with regards to the assessment of the history of art lessons being treated in the Departments of Fine Art located in the Turkish Education Faculties, which depends on the current students? view, has been studied in the light of the identification and content analyze reviews.Consequently, the History of Art Lesson being educated in the Departments of Fine Art located in the Education Faculties has been reviewed in the light of the current students? views and the results of the research. With respect to this research, it can be considered that the history of art lessons in Turkey are not treated with a method in which the students are active and that the program followed is not related to everyday life.
