Abstract (EN)

This study presents the rheological properties of using geopolymer for grouting ,by activating both fly ash (FA) and silica fume (SF) with sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and sodium silicate (Na2SiO3), the rheological behavior of geopolymer grout mixtures that have been given for shear stress versus shear rate curves compared with cement-based grout with fly ash(FA) and cement-based grout with artificial geopolymer fine aggregate(GA). By using different water to binder ratio w/b (0.75, 1.0, 1.25, 1.5). Since the corresponding rheological behaviors (i.e., pseudoplastic (shear-thinning), dilatant (shear-thickening), Bingham) of geopolymer grout mixtures have observed , while the dilatant (shear-thickening) have been observed for cement-based grout mixtures with (FA) and cement-based grout with (GA) in most mixtures. and through comparison of results with the native cement (100%pc) was observed that the geopolymer grout with the combinations of 30%SF and 40%SF are mostly obtained close to the responses of native cement for all w/b. On the other hand, the 30% rates of fly ash and geopolymer aggregate seem to become the most close to the responses of native cement grout for all w/b. Keywords: geopolymer grout, alkaline activator (NaOH+Na2SiO3), fly ash, silica fume, cement-based grout, artificial geopolymer fine aggregate, rheological behavior.
