Abstract (EN)
This thesis includes both the production of musical instrument called "Tulum" played in Çamlıhemşin area in Rize, and also information about the musical culture in the area. There are two actual factors for being realized this study that one of them is the limited knowledge about the music genres of the area, and the other one is having not made a study about local instrument "tulum" before. In this study, the history and geography of the area and the identity of the ethnic groups living in the area have been examined by collecting datas and literature review. After that the subspecies including in the music culture of the area have been identified and by presenting information about where and how to perform these works, the analyses of these works have been made. In the last part of study you can see the information about the history of the local instrument "Tulum" and also you can see the information about the how to produce this instrument step by step. The suggestions about the notation of the insturment have been shared at the end of study.
