Abstract (EN)
Obtaining electricity from renewable energy sources and the efficient use of these energy sources are increasing in the world. Photovoltaic (PV) panels and small wind turbines are widely used in renewable energy systems. Although, PV and wind power systems can't produce energy continuously because these systems aren't primary energy sources. In this thesis, analyzing and control of smart inverter is aimed, which using for balance between produced and consumed energy in Solar-Wind Hybrid Power Generation System (SW HPGS) that has battery equipment. The proposed smart inverter has automatic running mode such as on-grid, off-grid and storage. In these modes, loads are fed with energy that produced by SW HPGS. The generated energy is then stored in the battery group to be used and transferred to the grid. When energy cut off is occurred, the loads are fed by energy stored in battery group. In this work, all modes that mentioned before are modeled and analyzed with MATLAB/Simulink software.
