Abstract (EN)
Pressed manufacturing is one of the most widely used manufacturing methods in the sheet metal processing sector. Due to the nature of the process, production oils are used to ensure that the product takes the correct form and to reduce errors that may occur. Due to the extra features that are desired to be gained by Deconstructing sheet metal, the coating process is also among the commonly used processes. In order for the coating process to work smoothly, the passivation net must be knitted correctly, coating errors may occur depending on the type of oil used in pressed manufacturing, the amount of oil and the waiting time of the part in the oil. In this study, the parts produced by the pressed manufacturing method were selected. The parts produced have been subjected to different waiting times on a daily and weekly basis. Zinc, zinc-nickel and manganese-phosphate coating processes were selected to monitor the effect of the coating process. In the study, the effect of waiting time on coating quality of the parts produced with two oils with different viscosity values was examined. The samples were kept for three days and three weeks in two oils with low and high viscosity values, and then coating processes were performed. The coating strength of the prepared samples was checked by performing the adhesion (cross cut) test. Coating thickness measurements were checked by X-ray measurement and salt mist tests were performed for corrosion resistance. The samples were evaluated over the tests performed. After the tests, it is seen that the corrosion resistance of the products produced with low viscosity oil for zinc coating and waiting in oil on a daily basis is higher and a more uniform coating surface is obtained. Similar results have been obtained for Zinc Nickel coating in the field of corrosion resistance the highest resistance viscosity belongs to the sample where the coating process was performed after waiting three weeks in low oil. Manganese Phosphate coating is a functional coating rather than cosmetic, and the main reason for preference is wear resistance test results show that there is no difference in corrosion and strength characteristics, in addition, visual error has been detected in products with high viscosity value and waiting on a weekly basis.
