Abstract (EN)
In the study, Sadi Işılay, who is one of the important violin players of Classical Turkish Music, evaluated the maqam analysis of his attitude by considering the improvisations he made in five different maqams. This study was conducted using the descriptive survey model. The way Işılay used his technique while playing the violin and the decorations he applied were also evaluated and analyzed, and the taksims were analyzed. It is heard that the nuances and embellishments that Işılay has applied in the improvisations he has performed, generally use techniques specific to Turkish music such as percussion, glissando, vibrato, in a way specific to his performance style. In the improvisations, firstly, the improvisations were notated, the modal analysis of the taksims was made, and finally, the analysis of the execution technique was carried out.
