Abstract (EN)
This descriptive study was carried out with 624 students studying in the Midwifery and Nursing Departments of the Faculty of Health Sciences of Çukurova University and volunteering to participate in the study. In the study, Personal Information Form prepared by the researcher and "School Culture Scale" developed in four likert scale by Kantek et al. in 2010 were used. All necessary permissions and ethics committee approval were obtained for the research. Verbal consent was obtained from the participants. SPSS 24.0 package program was used in the statistical analysis of the data. In the evaluation of the data, number and percentage, mean, standard deviation, Independent Sample T Test and One Way Variance Analysis (ANOVA) were used. The significance levels were taken as 0.05 in all tests. 63.5% of the students participating in the study receive education in the nursing department and 36.5% in the midwifery. The average age of the participants is 20.82 ± 1.50 years and 78.5% are Anatolian high school graduates. In the study, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was found to be 0.96 in total scale and 0.75 and above in sub-dimensions, and the results were found to be highly reliable. As a result of the study, it is concluded that students' perceptions of school culture are influenced by the departments where they study, the class and whether they work in income or not. It was determined that as the level of satisfaction with the school increased, their perceptions of school culture also increased. Students' perception of school culture was found high.
