Health service, health system and quality

Health care has an important place for societies. For this reason, there are ongoing reforms in countries to improve health care and improve quality standards. The primary purpose of the health system is to protect public health and effectively treat the health problems that occur. Individuals requesting health care are the primary assessors of the quality of health care. However, for this assessment to be carried out effectively, health systems need to be structured in accordance with the needs of the society. Turkey has consistently worked to make improvements on the health care system when examined from a historical perspective in this context. As it is examined in the study, recent reforms are called health transformation programs.
