Abstract (EN)
Digitalization in the health sector refers to the ability of individuals to follow their own health as they wish, to use smart systems in many areas such as making appointments, diagnosis and treatment, and the use of virtual health systems instead of physical health environments. Digitalization in health involves receiving services from virtual hospital environments rather than physical hospital environments. The most important step taken in the 21st century has been to adapt health to the virtual environment. Thanks to changing and developing technology, people can perform transactions with a single click without waiting in a physical queue. In addition to saving time, it is preferred because it meets the expectations of service recipients to the desired extent. Digitalization, which facilitates the work of service providers as well as service recipients, is preferred by healthcare professionals in terms of bringing the desired document to the screen instantly and storing a lot of information in memory. Before digitalization began, a lot of time was wasted in bookkepping, opening and storing records, and physically searching for the desired document in the archive, but thanks to the developing technology, all of these operations can be done in seconds. In addition to facilitating transactions, digitalization in health has also raised some ethical issues. For example, how can the security of the identity information provided when making an appointment at the hospital via smart phones be ensured? What method is used to protect credentials from malicious people? What are the legal aspects of having your credentials and personal information compromised? What are the economic consequences of legal aspects? In this thesis, while presenting studies on the development of digitalization in health the negative effects that come to the fore with digitalization will also be emphasized.
