Abstract (EN)
A positive image contributes to every institution without exception. Private universities that know this are trying to have a good image and attract students to their universities. In recent years, public universities have also entered this competition and started to attract talented students and academics to their institutions. Every university that knows the benefits of a positive corporate image has started to work on this subject. Public universities should also know their current image and work to increase or turn their image into positive. Otherwise, it lags behind the competition and may cause it to be unable to attract qualified students and academicians to the institution. The subject of the research is the image of Sakarya University on its students. Measuring the current image of the university on students is the primary purpose of the research. The survey, which was developed to measure the image, was applied to students studying at Sakarya University. There are 22 questions in the survey, and besides the image, there are questions about the design of the institution (campus) and commitment to the institution. Some of the surveys applied to 414 students in total were created via Google Forms, and the survey link was sent as a message, and some were applied face-to-face to a small number of students in the school. Four hypotheses were determined within the scope of the research, and 4 of them were also confirmed. The study concluded that there is a meaningful relationship between students' image perceptions and gender, age, and faculty variables. In addition, it has been seen that Sakarya University has a generally positive image of its students.
