Analysis of Salih Urhan's performance of kabak kemane

Salih Urhan's kabak kemane performance has an important place in traditional Turkish folk music. The main purpose of this research is to explain the contributions of Salih Urhan, an artist who has certain qualifications and is competent in his field, especially in kabak kemane performance, to Turkish folk music, and to identify the ornamentation techniques he used while performing kabak kemane and to determine his personal style characteristics. The study is important in terms of identifying the technical and personal stylistic features in question and transferring them to future generations without being lost. In this study, answers were sought to the questions regarding the technique and interpretation features used by Salih Urhan in the performance of kabak kemane. The data in the study were obtained by the source scanning method.
