Abstract (EN)

Investigating employee attitudes, intentions, and behaviors within the organization can save companies from many costs with a proactive approach. In particular, businesses take precautions before negative behaviors in the organization occur, and they can prevent low productivity, poor organizational performance, high absenteeism, high turnover rate, etc. can reduce the costs caused by the situations. In this study, the effects of organizational loneliness on organizational silence were examined by considering the concepts of organizational loneliness and organizational silence, which are frequently seen in organizations. In addition, the effects of emotional deprivation and social companionship dimensions of organizational loneliness on Acquiescent voice, Defensive voice, and ProSocial voice dimensions of organizational silence were also examined. For this purpose, data were obtained by a questionnaire applied to 317 employees by simple random sampling method from three companies belonging to a holding in Osmaniye. For the analysis of these data, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and Multiple Regression Analysis were applied. The findings showed that there is a statistically significant relationship between organizational loneliness and organizational silence, and organizational loneliness has a significant effect on organizational silence.
