Abstract (EN)

The mine profiles, which are called hot rolled Toussaint-Heintzmann (TH) used in mining galleries and tunnels, are obtained as a long product as a result of rolling process. According to the calibration parameters and raw material properties, the product is cut to the desired length on the line, cooled on the platform and finally straightened. However, the product cannot be used in galleries or tunnels in this way. They must be within the tolerance values specified by the standards and in the dimensions of the targeted galery arc. They must be cold deformed or cold bent as they can to be assembled as sliding support formations, trapezoid, etc. During bending, the most important design input is the % deformation and springback amount with deformation load. In this study; Cold deformation conditions of hot or thermomechanically rolled mine or tunnel profiles of different temperature and sections of TH section were investigated. Finite element method based bending simulations have been done to determine and optimize the amount of springback and residual stress. According to the process parameters obtained from bending simulation studies based on finite element method, prototype bending activities were performed. Thus, the arches with the elements of the mine and tunnel support system were obtained. Simulation supported deformation processes and prototype bending applications were compared with each other and the results were obtained for the compensation of springback and the prevention of crack formation in the cold deformation processes of metal profiles.
