Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was to increase the efficiency of solar water heating systems and to enhance the production of distilled water at the same time. For this arm; a distillation system combined with hot water collector was designed. Some experiments were done and finally the results were discussed. The efficiency in natural and forced solar collectors was found out and compared to each other. In addition, the amount of daily-produced-water in the conventional type distillers and new-designed distillations. Then experiments were made on distillers combined with solar-energy water and the obtained results are presented. Various parameters such as radiation, temperatures, efficiency, and volume of distilled water are evaluated for the days indicated between July and October 2012. As a result of this study, it has been found out that the highest efficiency is obtained by using forced convection collectors and that the level of efficiency reached up to 77.98 % at noon in October. In addition, the highest volume of distilled water has been obtained as 7.92 liters per day in pool-type and store-type distillers combined with a solar collector.
