Abstract (EN)
A composite material consists of two or more different materials in order to obtain a superior material. The laminated composites, which are frequently preferred in composite materials, are used in many engineering applications. In the high temperature effect, cracks in laminated composites frequently occur at the layer interfaces. Therefore, the understanding in the mechanical behavior of laminated composite structures in high temperature effect is very important. In this study, the static and vibration behavior of the simply supported laminated composite plates are investigated within the temperature-dependent material property. The material of laminas is considered as orthotropic and temperature-dependent. In order to obtain the governing equations of the problem, the first order shear deformation plate theory and virtual work principle are used. In solution of the governing equations, the Navier solution is used. By using MATLAB program, the numerical results and graphs are obtained. In this program, the effects of the layer numbers, stacking sequences, fiber orientation angles, different temperature values and geometric properties of the laminated plates on the static and vibration responses are investigated and discussed. The displacements, stresses and natural frequencies of laminated composite plates are presented in tables and graphs. The differences between the results of temperature-dependent and independent material properties are examined and compared. Also the difference between the first order shear plate theory and the classical plate theory is compared in the displacements, stresses and natural frequencies of the laminated composite plates. Some of the particular results of the present study are compared with the results of the published results in the literature.
