Abstract (EN)
In this MSc thesis, the causes of current and voltage fluctuations on the DC-link capacitor were investigated in the grid connected photovoltaic systems, which are used as energy storage elements for voltage source inverters. Prior to the introduction of methods for reducing these fluctuations, the necessary structures for controlling inverters, an important component of the photovoltaic energy system, were addressed. The generation of the trigger signals required for the inverter to operate is accomplished by a new pulse width modulation method. By using the new method, a pulse width modulation technique which is exist in the literature is compared and simulated results of the effects of both methods on the photovoltaic energy system and the grid are realized in the simulation environment.
